This family owned one stop dive and surf shop has been on the south end of Kata beach since the late 90’s.  Their team of locals are experts in surf instruction and are among the best on the island.  They include include a former pro competitor, a lifeguard, and a young up-and-comer with talent in progressive surfing.

They have over 60 surfboards to choose from to suit your surfing level.  They range fro 5’6” to 10’2”.  Being right on the beach makes it easy and quicker for you to get out in the water!

They have everything you need to go get wet.  And if you’re looking to buy a board, they have some great choices from Australia, California, Hawaii, and even Thailand.  Some brands you’ll find here include McTavish Surfboards, Walden Surfboards, 7S, SouthPoint Epoxy Surfboards, NSP, and Anacapa.

They are also an international PADI Certified Dive Center offering scuba diving, diving tours, and courses throughout the months November to April.

Easy going instructors give you all the tools you need to know for learning how to surf.  You’ll be able to stand up on your surfboard with the guidance of your own personal instructor and will be able to perform other essential techniques such as paddling, proper board positioning, and knowing how to turn your surfboard.

Safety instructions along with learning about how to find your sweet spot, and practicing your pop up are performed on the south end of Kata Beach right in front of the surf break!

You’ll meet Mike, May, and Panjo right on the southern shores of Kata Beach!

You can also locate them through the back way along the street off of Soi Khoktanod (4233).  Look for the Royal Viking Tailor shop (blue sign with red lettering).  There will also be signage for Kata Mama Seafood and Kata Rocks.  Follow the small side street down to the beach.  See map here.
